I use Python 3.8.
I get the following error when trying to run "import wrds" in Jupyter (although I get the same error in Spyder):
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "C:\Users\xxxxx\Anaconda3\lib\site-packages\IPython\core\interactiveshell.py", line 3331, in run_code exec(code_obj, self.user_global_ns, self.user_ns)
File "", line 1, in import wrds
File "C:\Users\xxxxx\Anaconda3\lib\site-packages\wrds_init_.py", line 33, in from .sql import Connection
File "", line 1 (err=) ^ SyntaxError: invalid syntax
Can anyone let me know what the problem is, and how to fix it? Thank you.
The init.py contains the following:
# -*- coding: utf-8 -*-
