I have a bucket for which I want to turn on logging and I log to another bucket. Now this error claims that S3 have regions / locations, but S3 is actually a global service, it does not have a location, what gives?

I expect this to work, I obviously can't send longs to the same bucket, as then reading the logs will create more logs.

    S3 absolutely has regions. S3 bucket names are globally unique, but the buckets themselves exist in a specific region. – Mark B Aug 13 '23 at 00:54
