Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /home/u190966517/domains/manualsdock.com/public_html/wp-includes/option.php on line 2515

There is an error in wp-includes/option.php and i didn't do anything in this file its a wp core file.

now the last two lines where its showing the error is blank so i remove the extra space. now its showing on line no# 2515.

Then I check the starting of the file and 2 bracket are opening but not closing at the bottom. I close bracket in the end of the code and the file error gone but than I got a new error.

This is the new error after adding curly bracket in the end of the file which were mising

These are core file and im not expert in php. just guide me how to solve this issue.

  • Then you can replace the core file with an "original" one. Just download WordPress with the correct version you're using and extract the option.php and replace it. In any case, make a backup of your old file in the case somebody did in fact edit the core file. – CodeBrauer Aug 22 '23 at 09:40
