I am currently using old MacBook Pro with only 5GB of iCloud storage free plan. I can't afford to continue paying for iCloud storage, and my Mac keeps saying disk almost full. I see that over 100GB of my MacBook storage is recommended for system and others, but these options are grayed out that no option to delete. How can I free up storage space on my MacBook Pro so that I can use it, it keeps saying disk almost full and needed over 29GB additional space before I can install updates but all I can see available is only 3 GB now. This has caused me to delete all files and apps in my system yet didn’t work. What can I do please?
I was expecting my MacBook Pro storage space to be free up after uninstalling some apps and deleting files but still not enough space available for updating from MacOS Catalina to macOS Big Sur.
