What is the difference between &
and &&
?
I am getting same output for both &
and &&
.
Ex:
&&
:if (true && true){ System.out.println("------if------"); } else { System.out.println("------else------"); }
&
:if (true & true){ System.out.println("------if------"); } else { System.out.println("------else------"); }
Output:
------if------
------if------
Can we use &
and &&
operators in our code interchangeably?
