Hey!
My name's Greg, and I'm a Computer Science + Psychology double major at the University of Alberta!
I'm a streamer, musician/producer, top 10 Zelda speedrunner, and an aspiring indie game dev and software developer.
I love programming (although I'm no pro yet), and I have a fair amount of experience working with Python in and out of school. I know some C++, Lua (with the LOVE2D engine), Swift, and assemblty. I have briefly dabbled in HTML/CSS and BASIC as well.
I've made a few crappy games in Python using PyGame, I have a few in the works (using Lua+LOVE2D and pygame) and currently I'm trying to figure out Kivy so I can make some cross-platform mobile games and apps. Right now I'm doing it for the experience, but eventually I would love to get into making some commercial apps.
I have spent a ton of time gaming, and so I have a million and one different ideas for game mechanics and lore. Once I have developed a larger programming skillset, I will definitely be getting together with some fellow CS, animation, and graphic design friends (whom I know IRL and have met through streaming) to work on some more complex titles of various genres.
Aside from programming, I intend to (at least in-part) produce soundtracks and soundboards for my games, as I've easily spent 4000+ hours studying electronic music production and sound design, playing instruments, composing, recording, mixing, and mastering.
Check out my stream on Twitch, and follow my social media accounts if you're interested in updates on what I'm working on at any given time.
I promise to deliver some solid gaming content, apps, and music over the next few decades.
Thanks for reading :). Have a great day!
