I spent 12 years as a high school math and science teacher, until I discovered a love for coding. I went through a six month intensive coding bootcamp at UCI where I learned the basics and then some. After that I took a three month position as a UI Intern at Liferay, Inc. Since the internship ended, I have continued to develop applications, refine old code and learn new things through online sources while pursuing a full time web development position.
