After three decades in media & entertainment capped off by two Emmy Awards, I left the space to explore new opportunities in technology and management. I oversaw Web operations and development for clients on two separate occasions and even left the client side briefly to explore the vendor/agency life in order to keep my technical skills up-to-date.

When I graduated from college, there was no World Wide Web. As journalism increasingly shifted to new media, the only way to stay relevant was to teach myself to be the reluctant software engineer. Now with an influx of younger, more nimble engineers, I am grateful for any opportunity to use my full-transferrable technical and managerial skills. It is now my honor to accept this offer to join the New Jersey Judiciary as Administrative Supervisor 4 in the Information Technology Office, Technical Services and Operations Unit.
