IT Manager at a small engineering company in Robertsbridge, East Sussex. Alongside managing the day to day IT needs of the business I am also currently building a web based portal for editing the company's equipment database. This has utilised the application of several technologies including HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and JQuery.

I have a strong academic background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) having completed an undergraduate Geography degree at the University of Nottingham and an MSc in Geospatial Analysis at University College London (UCL). During my studies I gained programming experience in web and mobile app production for android devices, building a location based quiz app for android smartphones in Java. Completing my summer dissertation project with an industrial partner, GeoXphere, I also got experience using the JavaScript Cesium framework to build a 3D web based visualisation and analysis tool for 3D city models.

In my spare time I also like to enhance my development skills using new technologies where possible. For example, at the moment I am learning Swift in order to start building apps for iOS devices as well as Android.
