A veteran of the Information Security industry since 1989. Mainly focused on IoT and robotics these days. Spending my downtime on Lisp programming to move forward with artificial life (alife) and synthetic psychology studies. Secretly I've been applying my efforts in a more Quantum direction, enjoying the overlap of concepts and ideas with my early studies pre Y2K.
I'm semi-retired even though I'm not even in my 50's yet. The infosec business has been good to me. I'm not looking for permanent work, but occasionally really interesting things come by and I take them up. You have to want a lot, and have a lot to offer. I'm seriously not interested in working with juniors who somehow adopted senior titles. This has been the frustration of many a head hunter along the way, but you'll get my heart and soul if your project is genuinely interesting.
I'm at my best in an advisory role. Contracts only.
