My field of expertise is centered on high-energy astrophysics, in particular through the use of the Cherenkov technique.

I am part of the The Southern Wide-field Gamma-ray Observatory (SWGO) where I work on simulation and reconstruction for the development of the observatory with a focus on the performance detection of gamma-rays above the energy of 100 TeV.

I am part of the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA) Consortium, a multinational, worldwide project aiming to build a new-generation ground-based gamma-ray instrument. In this framework, I am contributing to the development of the low-level data analysis pipeline that will support the continuous operations of this observatory.

I am part of the MAGIC telescopes Collaboration, where I started my journey working on Galactic and Extragalactic astrophysics. I also briefly worked on X-ray data applied to the study of Gamma-Ray Bursts. My research interests have evolved in the more broad and new field of multi-messenger astrophysics, from where I have grown interested in neutrinos and gravitational waves.

I have developed skills both from the point of view of physics and statistical data analysis, especially in the field of big data and supervised machine learning. I am able to develop software in Python, C/C++, and Fortran while being acquainted with Unix shell environments. Python is my preferred language of development and data analysis, where I make daily use of the usual set of packages comprising numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, pandas, matplotlib, seaborn, etc. I also make use of and develop containerization solutions like Docker.
