I work on several software projects in my inordinate spare time. I've been programming since 2003, so I beat the nu-males, soyboys, and girls who kode by a good 5-10 years. I'm the real deal. I was coding before it was cool. Remember that. For the record I also hate Apple, do not use Sublime, and have no desire to learn Python. I'm a Millennial but wish I were a Zoomer, because I find my own generation embarrassing. I'm not a feminist, which means I'm basically unemployable in Silicon Valley, given that they care more about politics than actually being capable. I uphold the entire Constitution, which is another thing that would probably get me fired from any Silicon Valley job. I don't trust the government or corporations. I hate the entire upper class except for people like Bill Gates and Elon Musk (i.e. people who legitimately earned it and don't look down on those who aren't rich). I value freedom and individuality. I consider myself an anarchist and a cypherpunk. tl;dr I think the current tech culture is stupid and I have no desire to be a part of it. I'm a NEET living off disability payments and will probably remain that way for the foreseeable future. I'm asexual, autistic, bipolar, and gender-nonconforming (I know those traits tend to score social points, so there you go).
