Settling for something because "that's how it's always been done" is an anathema to me; I acknowledge that there is a time and a place for most things, but when I see that the value is there, I take great pride in finding new and better ways to build our digital world.

I love learning new skills, am fascinated with the art and science of scaling applications, and am enthusiastic about watching ideas - and dreams - take off!

Moreover, I strongly believe that as professionals, we need to carefully consider the ethics of our actions, and do everything we can to ensure that we use our creative super powers for the good of everyone.

When I'm not geeking out over an exciting project at work, you'll find me mentoring future engineers, flying around the mountains, or experimenting in my kitchen.
