I'm a Senior Developer for Primedia Broadcasting in South Africa (consisting of Eyewitness News [EWN] / KFM / Cape Talk / 702 / Highveld / LeadSA and others). The EWN CMS + website is pretty much all my code by this point, and I'm starting to branch out into other side projects, and I'm always looking for new challenges.

I have a strong background in .Net development, starting in SQL/windows apps, and moving into web in the last 3 years. Despite my .Net background, I'm a pragmatist, and as such, I'm open to any technology that does the job regardless of my previous experience.

Lately I've been playing with google mapping technologies and websockets. It's looking like I might have access to google maps for work API data soon, so I imagine this is merely the beginning of a learning journey.
