I've been designing, developing and testing software since the '80s, way before the internet and Stack Overflow was a thing. I try to embrace everything new (yes, Stack Overflow is relatively new) but it's challenging to keep up! Hence the one-year delay to respond to a question about my reply to a post!
COBOL/IBM ==> C++/Windows ==> C#/Azure pretty much reflects the arc of my career so far. I'm now trying to leverage AI as the latest wizz-bang tool to aid my work. Conclusion so far:
You must be an experienced developer to get any real value out of it. It's artificial alright, but it's not intelligent.
