I worked on a programming path at WebMD (insurance claims not the website) until I became disabled. Programming has been a great interest and hobby of mine ever since, tho it takes years for me to do what would take a normal person a month. I am completely self taught. I began learning by watching TheNewBoston(didn't we all?) and consulting w3schools(the horror!). I made a browser rpg game using pure vanilla javascript and mostly vanilla PHP before Laravel really got good. I avoided frameworks but finally fell in love with Laravel. After hating the direction GoDaddy was going I made the decision to switch from LAMP to FAng (Firebase/Angular) and with my limited javascript knowledge I have had to take a lot of Udemy classes and update my skills like Typescript. I hope to refactor my little browser game to the FAng stack. I also maintain a few websites for friends/charity.
