I’m an engineer in Computer Science. I've been working as a data analyst at banking since 2018. As a good engineer my passion is problem solving. As a curious person, data analytics it’s just exciting. Being a data analyst gave me a lot of opportunities to live that passion in an exciting way!
I feel very motivated to work in a multidisciplinary team, learn from others, and help in what I can. I like to learn new things. I invest part of my spare time in taking courses and practicing new skills. I think a key part of being successful is to keep learning new ways of doing things, tools and frameworks.
I usually do a lot of data cleansing, data wrangling and data analysis in order to get insights for supporting business decisions and improving commercial actions. I use SQL, Python, visualization and presentation tools.
These years at banking I learnt so much from business. Besides the development of analytical skills I got to improve my soft skills. Especially my communication skills because all the work that I do I have to present to other teams.
Before working with data, I’ve worked as a junior researcher, programmer, and software engineer for about three years in academia. There, I’ve published three articles, two in conferences and one in journals.
