I am passionate in writing elegant and efficient code. I am proficient in Javascript, Ruby, and SQL. The frameworks I enjoy working in most right now are React.js, Redux.js, and Ruby on Rails. As a kid I used CSS and HTML to customize my social media, so I was intrigued by coding but intimidated. I took the leap of faith and joined a coding bootcamp, App Academy. There I learned to be a full-stack developer creating multiple projects in multiple frameworks.

My film background helps with paying attention to detail. Once I learned that code is supposed to be clean for the human eye, but can be disastrous if not done right. I wanted my code to be like the quality of my edits or shots in films, clear, elegant, and well thought out. Whether it is learning a new algorithm, creating a full stack project with a Rails backend and React/Redux, to styling a web page with CSS, I enjoy all elements of software engineering because I genuinely enjoy seeing the final product.
