I work in my dream career as the lead Data Scientist/Applied ML engineer for Odd Industries. We are a computer vision and digital transformation company with a heavy focus in Applied Computer Vision and Data Transformation Infrastructures.

Personally, I've co-authored several patients which include our context-free model system that uses language understanding from IndustryA - ClientA and applies it to IndustryB - ClientB. I've worked on an NLU search engine to build those context-free datasets and I created analysis and visualization tools help Customer Success in better understanding the business needs being exposed inside their conversations. In the process of doing all that, I've architected systems from the ground up using AWS Sagemaker, Google BigQuery, PubSub, Cloud Functions, Lambda, DynamoDB, and BigTable services. I'm a licenced AWS Solutions Architect and I'm in the process of obtaining my GCP Data Engineer Certificate.

Resume items aside, I think one of my most important achievements was leading a pilot project to provide recommendations to HR Hotline questions where the project failed completely. Our company founder wanted a product that could be generalized to any hotline while using a specified technology he had promised to the client, the client wanted the results they had been promised and on a timeline much more aggressive than the development process allowed. All the while the engineering team was saying that the technology designated was not appropriate for the clients use case.

I was the lead of that engineering team and while the situation was stressful and frustrating I was very proud of the groups' ability to maintain a sense of humor, stay positive, and trust each other as we navigated through the storm. In the end, no one left, quit, or crumbled under pressure. The CEO's finally agreed with us and a new business arrangement was made.
