I work on Unix since 1982, and am still in activity for roughly 10 years. I developed many telecom drivers and many system programs, found solutions to complicated problems, solved a serious super-computer (HPC) dysfunction, and did many various impressive optimizations (in programs, protocols, algorithms, ...). I essentially develop in C (sometime in C#, Python, Perl, AWK or bash), wrote a French book about Regular Expressions and some articles in GNU Linux Magazine France.
