Hi, programming is my life, my first computer was a TRS-80 Model I, and I never looked back. I've spent alot of time as an architect, which i regret because it moved me too far away from programming. In 2007 I began turning down Architect positions, who cares about the extra money, I'd rather do what I love. Also, I've been a stackoverflow participant for several years, but I created a new account this week. Whatever.
My biggest frustration as a programmer is business departments that try to put a wall up between the programmers and ownership of the problem, and in so doing take on the design role. I think that leads to inferior products and hinders the evolution of Web 2.0, etc. But I digress. Another frustration is companies who spend 2 years architecting and have only a handful of prototype CRUD services to show for it, and a delivery deadline that is now only 4 months away, and decide at that point to adopt Sharepoint. That's a pretty specific frustration, isn't it? :-)
I love programming Web 2.0 pwoered with Ajax and Services. I am torn between PHP and .Net. Support people with Aspbergers Syndrome please. Live Long and Prosper.
