My name is Chris. I graduated from Marist College in May 2018. I am a Software Developer at iThreat.

I started coding in 2012. Before I attended Marist, I had already begun working on my website (ChrisSiena.com), which at the time was a testing and learning environment. By the time I started at Marist, I had already had a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java. After my freshman year, I completely rebuilt my website using PHP and at the time had built everything from scratch (including my login script and autosaving/anti-cheat engine in the game I wrote the year prior for a JavaScript class). This was the summer before I had a class on PHP.

My programming skills were applied to a few custom sites developed as a freelancer. Later on in college, I designed a custom compiler that made it into my professors hall of fame. As seniors we had to build a full working system from the ground up in small teams. My team had elected to build a life coaching site. We were 3 computer science majors, 1 information technology major, and 1 information systems major; I wrote the whole thing (contributors).

Since I started at iThreat, I have begun really appreciate RegEx and the power behind it. I have started working on a few PHP Libraries that are located on my GitHub. I also recently started to build a simple and clean recipe app for iOS in React Native. This project start as a way to keep track of the recipes I find in a simple and easy manor without having to subscribe to a service. I plan to build a few apps for iOS and later Android.
