It all started that one fateful evening when my computer was broken, and I had to turn up to my neighbor's one to figure out this 'programming' thing since I had to qualify for my final exams in middle school.
That's when it ticked! I sowed the seed which would one day be reaped to unveil passion.
More than my job title, more than my career, more than what I'm able to bring to the table, it's all about how much I enjoy my craft. It's this hustle to learn and grow across the domain of software that keeps the fire in me lit. Heck! I don't know what I'd be doing without coding in my life!
You know whatever application you use or whatever web app you browse through? Well, what you see is the frontend. There are some magical characters (thousands of lines actually) typed for that fancy button on your screen to work. That is what you don't see. That's the backend, and that's what I'm into.
Although I'm hacking my way into becoming a full-stack guy, I'll always be more of a backend folk. There's just something unique towards developing something that people can't see but is the thing that makes the magic happen.
Regarding the tech I use, it started with the fundamentals of Java, moving on to JDBC and SQL, soon after SpringBoot and MongoDB came into the mix, had to learn Python with Django REST, and currently hacking on technologies associated with the JavaScript ecosystem.
Every day of mine has a mix of learning in one way or another.
Other than my professional life, where my fingers are glued to the keyboard, my eyes to the screen, and my body to the chair, you can find me doing quite a couple of things. For instance, I embrace spending time with family, reading books (I'm an avid reader), and just having a nice stroll alongside nature.
Also, rather than tap dancing away on my keyboard, I can dance. Specifically speaking MJ style with popping thrown in the mix. Stick around and you might get surprised. :)
