In my professional life I'm a ph.d in applied physics with a focus on microscopy and surface reactivity.

One of my greatest hobbies are Free and Open Source Software and my main contribution is within translations. I am the coordinator for the Danish translation team for Gnome and I'm a member of Dansk-gruppen, which is a umbrella group for Danish FOSS translations.

I also have a few small programming projects, of which the most mature is the Python GetText Translation Toolkit (PyG3T), which I write in collaboration with my good friend Ask.

Besides software I also like my sports, I run, lift weights and take karate lessons and also teach them, currently I'm a black belt so watch out ;)

I love music, mostly metal, and television shows, in particular SciFi and comedy (Star Trek, Fringe etc., The Big Bang Theory etc.), which means that my MythTV media center is definitely "myyyyy precious".
