Hi! I'm a developer (as I'm sure everyone is on this site) located in the United States.

I would still consider myself to be a beginner to intermediate developer, however, the Dunning Kruger effect may be in play here.

I'm completely self-taught. I used online sources to teach myself how to program from day one, which was around 3 years ago (Gah! It's really been that long?)

I have experience programming mainly in Python. I've mostly been using the Pygame library to make games. I haven't released any, but you may be able to find some on my Github page.

I've recently started learning more C++ and experimenting with SDL, which I hope to make a game to release on my website (which is not completed, so don't look there for now, please!).

I'm currently employed full time as a student (my salary is definitely very high), in high school. Here's hoping to get into MIT or an Ivy League school, perhaps!

In the past, I've tried out using game engines such as Unity or Godot. I disliked using them, however, as it felt like they took away from the experience of programming. They focused far too much on getting an output rather than the work that goes into creating a game. This is purely my opinion, so don't get mad at me for this!

Anyway, I think that's it. I'll update this "About Me" section if I ever need to.

Thanks for reading!
