I started Maher Technologies in 1998 upon moving to Carlsbad.

Initially I specialized in equipment and networking for business customers. During that time, I became interested in database programming and development of desktop database programs for my customers.

Now I work exclusively in the support and continued development of those programs. The data for these programs is stored on MS SQL Server. Some of the database desktop clients are developed using objects from MS Access and MS Excel using VBA. But the main database client is developed using C# and the .Net framework.

In addition to programming, I have an extensive background in business management which makes it easy for me to understand customer needs and to translate them in useful program features.

My main interests at SO focus on questions about T-SQL, C#, & .NET. In the future I would like to create a cell phone based client for parts of the database programs to better support my customers.

I've taken many college level courses in VB, C, C++, and Java Script. I have an MS in Management and years of management experience.

I have found the information at SO very helpful in solving many problems as I continue to develop my programs.
