I'm teaching myself to program using the abundant resources of the internet and a few knowledgeable friends. Finally, I'm reaching a point where I can not only receive help, but give it as well. So far I've worked with Python, Ruby, ROR, and SQL. Currently, I'm learning javascript.

My particular programming interests include machine learning, data analysis, data visualization, and natural language processing. Ultimate, vague goal: get a job working to make the world a better place.
