I'm going into my fourth year of a physics PhD program. I still have an enormous amount to learn and my knowledge is far from perfect! I take pride in being the one to ask the "dumb" questions. I think the only way to learn is to be honest with myself about how much I know, so I can't pretend. I enjoy physics and math a lot. Solving problems is a lot of fun and often the way of getting to the solution is more interesting than the solution itself. My work so far has been in high energy physics, specifically lattice gauge theory. My main programming language is Fortran, but I'm trying to learn more C and C++.
