Jamie Kook attended the University of Utah and earned a Bachelor of Science in biology. After graduating from the University of Utah, Jamie earned her master’s degree in science secondary education from Vanderbilt University. While at Vanderbilt, she discovered her love of coding as she began working on video games that teach students physics. She continued with the project after graduating. Jamie has a rich background of experiences including involvement in customer service, education, child care, public speaking, theatre, falconry, epidemiology, scientific research, educational research, data analysis, and scripting.

Jamie has spent the past few years at home with her two young children. During this time, she has also worked as a tutor and part-time teacher in a range of subjects including biology, chemistry, physics, and math. Along with her family, Jamie enjoys being in nature and hiking. She also loves reading and playing board games. Her favorite games include Shadow Hunters, Settlers of Catan, and Seven Wonders.
