I've been fascinated by technology in general and computers specifically since I was a kid. I taught myself to program in BASIC on a Commodore 64 when I was 9, and started building PC's when I was in high school, both for myself and friends/family, and for the last 2 years before I graduated as a way to earn a bit of extra income. After high school, while I kept up with self-learning in programming and IT related topics, aside from a brief stint doing tech support it took a while for me to get into a computer-related line of work. However, since 2000 I've primarily worked jobs where coding was at least a secondary responsibility of the job, and currently work as a full stack developer.
