I'm a 40-something college student; photographer; Information Technology Professional and former U.S. Marine. After leaving the Corps in 95' I began a 5 year career as a freelance web developer, teaching myself HTML, JavaScript, PHP, Perl, etc - when business dried up near the end of 2011; I closed up shop, relocated and went to work as a 1-man IT department for a medium sized business in Central Missouri.

After 7 years, they decided they didn't need an in-house IT Guy; I decided it was time to vindicate all the years of self-education with a real college degree. Today, I continue to look for a new job; further my photography and continue my studies; I'm a Junior at Columbia College (Central Missouri) working on my BA in Philosophy and BS in Computer Science -I hold a 4.0 gpa and have completed 3 Hours Java; 3 Hours Visual Basic; 12 Hours C++; and 3 Hours ASM. I hold an Associates in General Studies and really enjoy helping others; and will have an Associate Science in Computer Information Systems by fall of this year. I figure I'll teach when I'm done.
