Why would a maths teacher want to be a data scientist?

Combining six years of teaching experience, explaining complex ideas simply, with a statistics degree from the University of St Andrews I believe I have built the skill set needed to perform well in the role. Desiring to learn more about the field, I enrolled on a data science immersive programme where I learned from industry experts in fields such as machine learning and neural networks.

With my catalogue of skills, I am looking forward to starting a data science role where I can use my skills and experience to add to the company’s culture and output.
