I have always been interested in the technical. However, I studied Modern Languages at university (French and Spanish). From there, I became an English teacher but realised it wasn't what I wanted to do, so I returned to Ireland and got a job with a payment processor's outsourcer. I was moved into the Sales dept but still had experience with some technical bits. With the tech, sales experience and Spanish, I was recruited to RSA to work as an Account Manager. From there, I worked with a technology partner in the Cayman Islands to familiarise myself with a number of other technologies in the cybersecurity space.
After the Cayman Islands, I worked as an Account Manager in a recruitment agency and that's where I decided I really didn't want to do sales anymore. So here I am, doing a Udemy course on Web Development - so far so good.
