Alex is a Staff Research Engineer at Arm working on High Performance Computing research.

Previously, Alex was a postdoctoral researcher at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center. He worked in the Mont-Blanc project focusing on energy-efficient HPC systems, computer architecture simulation and task-based programming models.

He received his PhD on Computer Architecture from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - BarcelonaTech on October 2013. He received my MSc and BSc on Computer Engineering from Universitat Pompeu Fabra on September 2005. Other previous professional experiences include the IBM TJ Watson Research Center, Yorktown Heights, NY, USA (2008-2009) and Arm, Cambridge, UK (2012).
