Dr. Rocha has recently finished (2019) a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Waterloo, holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering (2013) from the University of Brasilia (UnB), Master and Bachelor degrees in Computer Engineering from Federal University of Goias (UFG), Brazil. Worked as a Software Developer and UI/UX team leader for 5 years and since 2011 he is a Tenured Professor at the Goiano Federal Institute, Brazil. As a researcher, worked on funded projects related to optimization, artificial intelligence, and user experience and interfaces.
