I'm a software developer starting out of Computer Science-turned-Computational Cognition roots. My undergrad was completed at the University of Michigan—Ann Arbor in Computational Cognition (C++ and Python were the focus) and my Master's is being completed at Vanderbilt University in Computer Science (Java and a grab-bag of others are the focus). A fair chance I'll forget to update when I graduate, it's expected around September 2022.
I've professionally worked in primarily .NET Core/.NET 5, SQL Server, and Angular (currently version 12) environments, but I prefer to think in the abstract theory first and the language-specific implementations second.
I consider myself to be a little more broad than just a programmer, I'm a writer. Before software (and to this day) I wrote (write) novels, short stories, poetry, and music for fun. Writing software is no different. There's a well-defined process, but that hardly gives you the answers, just the means to uncover them. This is the case for all of these forms of writing, for me.
