Started programming with C in first year of Engineering Physics degree (BSc+MSc), dealt with Mathematica, Python, C++ and several other science-applied computational tools. Had closer contact with Matlab for simulations on my experimental work during my Dissertation. Currently working as IT/Software developer at a small Energy Consulting company, where I handle a intercommunicating system of python plugins for QGIS, SQL databases on remote servers, an ODK-based app with the respective webserver submitting data to the database - plus all the connectivity issues (VPN, IPs, ports, protocols, etc) related with this 3 parts of the system.
