I'm spending my COVID stay-at-home time learning Python. My short term goals are to build a database with the result charts from the Del Mar racetrack to understand how data structures work. I would initially like to build an .html page that shows post position wins, sortable by rail position, weather conditions, and other factors.

Then, I would like to build a script that calculates Quirin speed/pace figures and daily variables from the fractional times. This will be a more difficult undertaking. Baby steps...
