I am a former Smalltalk/Java EE developer, who went the way most people go, away from software engineering towards enterprise architecture and data flows. Dont develop in my day job anymore, but you cannot get the developer out, cant you? Rather proficient in Smalltalk (VS(E), VA), used to do lots of different Java things and lots of Perl (on Unix mostly).
