For as long as I can remember, I've always had an insatiable curiosity. As a kid, I'd spend hours trying to figure out how things worked and how to improve them. Being exposed to computers from an early age helped satisfy my need for problem-solving and also introduced me to the wonderful world of games.

Computer games set me on the path to becoming a programmer. I must have been about ten years old when I was first introduced to Java. Before I knew it, I was writing programs and creating web pages, but it was not until I started writing mods for the game; SWAT 3 that I truly realized that this was what I wanted to do.

By the time I was to apply for university, my love for games and programming made the choice obvious. Game programming was by far the most fitting studies I could take and I enjoyed every minute of it.

After my studies, I realized that while games were what got me into programming, my love was also for the technical challenges it presented. This realization was what got me into AI, distributed systems, machine learning and anything of high complexity or performance.

I've been lucky to have worked with a wide range of technologies and languages over the years: C++, Java, Scala, Kotlin, JavaScript, and C# just to mention a few. I stay busy by applying these to my projects, enjoying the great outdoors and getting lost in books.
