I have depth and breadth of knowledge in an array of disciplines including mathematics, computer science, and physics. This includes deep knowledge and ability to code machine learning, robotics, and real-time streaming analytics for internet of things (IoT) use cases. Currently, I am engaged with incorporating both academic theory and real world experience in algorithmic fairness with large financial institutions into generalized software.
Previously, I created solutions that combined knowledge in chemical, electrical, and optical signal processing, machine learning, and software development. I created competitive solutions for neuroprosthetics, IoT agriculture automation, and human pose detection. This led to my desire to pursue careers in research and development that enable me to merge science, software, and product knowledge.
Currently, I am a data science software engineer at SolasAI, a compliance-focused and AI-based software platform that identifies and mitigates bias and discrimination in algorithmic decisioning stemming from work pioneered at BLDS, LLC. My work includes the creation of this platform and integrating world-class industry expertise, literature and technical research, and data science analytics and its utilization for Fortune 50 clients and BLDS consultants. I act as both a subject matter product owner and software engineer for the analytical techniques I develop.
