The display name has a little back story. I operate on a philosophy of push the shovel into the ground and ask questions later. What's the worst that can happen? Tree root? Buried phone and internet cable? Found out about that one later when something wasn't working.

Programming has been more of a hobby than something I did and was compensated for professionally. The interest began with coding Fortran on punch cards that got fan fold paper results on an IBM 360 at college.
