I've been a UI/UX and multimedia designer for over sixteen years, beginning in 1997. I am skilled in web application design, development, prototyping, wireframing, gathering and analyzing user data, use-case development, and information architecture. I'm proficient with HTML and CSS across different browser platforms and have a working knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery, YUI libraries, J2EE, XML, and XHTML. My goal is to provide the best user experience to the end users. Driven by a passion to design the best interface possible.
A few of my most celebrated accomplishments have been; directing an eight-person team producing a six hour interactive online course ware, reaching more than 2.5 million visitors since 2006 and designing software UI/UX in 2000 for what would later become interfaces for Verizon smartphones and other mobile devices.
A born leader, I am able to lead projects to completion and communicate effectively with team members. My design philosophy is to keep things simple and unfettered and not deliver a Web UI that is difficult to use. Simplicity and minimalism in design has been proven to work without sacrificing functionality or aesthetics.
My mix of technical skills, information architecture knowledge, multimedia skills, management experience, and the understanding of how they complement each other makes me a rare find among designers.
