I am a retired IT professional who has been designing, programming etc all my life. I was an IT manager for 15 yrs I have developed a system for the local Volunteer Coastguard for logging VHF Radio calls to and from vessels (many are leisure boats) including Trip Reports, Requests for Assistance and Emergency Radio Traffic ( eg on behalf of Police, Rescue agencies etc) . The system was developed in MS Windows Forms/ VisualBasic.net and uses SQL Server database. My academic/practical qualifications are MBA, BE.
