Interest: Programming (preferably in PHP) Current engagement: Developing a PHP based MVC web application framework, complete with a DBAL and a theme / template engine. 1. Primary development challenge for application framework - To shorten the "concept-to-prototype" life cycle of a web application by one-third of time required to develop solutions in traditional frameworks.

2. Primary development challenge for DBAL - To enable "query-less" interaction between logic and database.

3. Primary development challenge for templates - To enable auto-generation of client side code from abstract client-side objects created by the developer. Output to confirm to XHTML 1.0 / CSS standards.
