First, I tried to become a scientist (= got a degree and two masters in Physics). When I did, I decided I would invest some effort (= join a PhD program) in helping to save the planet (= study how to improve plasma confinement in order to develop a cleaner energy source). After some years (= too many) I realized that Science wasn't really my thing (= got my PhD and never wanted to hear a single word about it again), I tried to become a photographer (= took a sabbatical). That didn't work out either (= I never got paid in exchange for taking pictures). So, I started taking some coding courses online, got a job, and started getting my hands dirty. It's been a while now since I write code (= vanilla JavaScript, node.js, ReactJS, Python... whatever) that solves things and connects users with services. Coding might not have been my first calling, but it's clearly my passion now.
