Went to school for neuroscience wholly out of an interest for consciousness, intelligence, and neurodegenerative diseases. Realized the field itself is niche and is better complemented by a background in computer science, more aptly machine learning techniques.
Not here to claim or propose that such techniques display intelligence or consciousness; rather, I want to work toward software similar to AlphaFold2 and neuroinformatics simulations to unfold prions in silico which will hopefully lead to the same techniques in psychiatric nanomedicine being used to unfold them in vivo.
Of course, first I need to learn how to code in Python.
Also interested in emergence such as that of social behaviors and economies.
