10 PRINT "Hello World!"​

Those were my first lines of code, written in Basic, back in the 1990's, since then coding has been rather a hobby not a profession... It wasn't until mid-2013 when I, finally, made the career shift to software development. A decision, I don't think, I would ever regret. I am a passionate developer, matured by experience gained in successful career in project coordination, research and education. My clients were mainly from North America and Europe, from whom I've learned the values of professionalism, commitment and work quality.

In recent years, I coded mostly in Java and currently, starting out with Scala. I have worked briefly with JSP, JSF, Spring and done socket programming and got myself familiar with ActiveMQ. Previously, I coded in C, C++ and PHP. I have good knowledge of HTML, CSS and did some work with AngularJS. Currently focused on Akka toolkit, which subjected me to the admirable world of reactive programming.
