I'm a political scientist by training and work in a private company with comissioned research and evaluations for public authorities.

I mainly use R in the context of doing statistical analysis, and have no programming background except learning the basics of the R programming language. I'm using R mostly for data wrangling, statistical analysis and visualisations.

However, I'm getting increasingly aware of the potential of optimising work-flow and automatising the tasks that can be quite tedious and repetitive when they are to be repeated manually, instead of being packed into a nifty function.

I'm therefore trying to delve deeper into the universe of coding and am learning as I go.
