I am a longtime research associate with a very small company. I am learning Python and R in order to broaden my horizons. I have used R to produce a few visualizations that helped my boss understand at a glance a problem that I was working on. I am trying to learn python so I can plot the fermentations that I work on. Coding is new to me. I do a substantial amount of cut and paste other peoples code in order to get mine to work.

Personally I like to fly fish, hike and camp. I have a long time partner who also likes to fish, hike and camp. I volunteer my time with a few groups including the Lions club and Project Healing Waters.
